How to Play
Instructions
- Each player places 5 pucks (wooden discs) on his side of the board;
- Start by giving each other a high ten;
- Use the elastic band to shoot pucks through the middle gate until there are no more pucks on your side of the field.
- The fastest player to get rid of all the pucks in his field is the winner;
Clarifications
- No turns here - just reload and fire as fast as you can - your opponent will do the same
- If a puck flies off the board, play stops and the player whose side it left from must retrieve it
- You cannot use your hands to push pucks forward, but you may use your hands to move pucks on your side out of the way
Events during the game
Love Happens
When a well-aimed puck loves you a little too much, bounces off the opponent’s elastic to slide back to you through the gate. Love happens usually towards the end, but to win - your puck has to go through the gate and stay there.
Held Captive
At times your opponent’s puck might be held captive at the gate. Send it right back to where it came from with a well-aimed shot for a brilliant save.
Flaming Kiss
Pucks from both sides share a kiss at the gate and bounce back. Get the next shot in quickly to ensure there’s no more kisses.
Flying Puck
If a puck flies over the gate, the sender needs to take it back. If your opponent conveniently forgets a flying puck, remind them just when they’re down to their last puck.
For the experts
You humbly accept a penalty each time you fail your shot. Every time you fire without a puck going through, you must take one puck from your opponent and put it on your side. Sending back a captive counts as getting one through, but getting love back from your pucks does not. (see EVENTS DURING THE GAME)
Tournament tips
You can use ladder: Put the names of all the players in a column. Any player can challenge a player directly above them and if the lower player wins, they swap places and move up. The player on top of the list at the end of the allotted time is the winner.
